Damp and Mould

Ensuring our homes are healthy and safe for residents is our highest priority.

We encourage residents to report any signs of damp and mould as early as possible so we can investigate the cause and take appropriate action.

To resolve issues, we treat affected areas, repair or replace extractor fans where needed, and check or upgrade loft insulation. We also use tools such as data loggers, hygrometers and thermal imaging to help identify causes and provide solutions.

When you tell us about damp and mould we look at each report on a case-by-case basis to ensure individual household support.

How to report damp and mould

Please contact us as soon as you notice damp or mould that you’re worried about. When reporting an issue, it helps if you can tell us:

  • The room and location of the damp and mould
  • How long it has been in the property
  • Send pictures of the area
  • Any health conditions or vulnerabilities in the household that could be affected
