If you live in a flat with communal areas, please take a few minutes to make sure you understand the fire safety arrangements for your building.

Fire Action Notices are displayed in communal areas and explain what you should do in the event of a fire, including whether your building operates a stay put policy or an evacuation policy.

You can help keep your building safe by:

• Keeping corridors, stairways and communal areas clear
• Not storing bikes, prams, mobility scooters, furniture or rubbish in shared spaces
• Never wedging fire doors open
• Reporting any damage to fire doors or other fire safety equipment
• Letting us know if you or someone in your household may need support in an emergency
